Fantastic experience: Good footy with the lads

Negative experience: The pitches used to be much better but the quality of the pitches these days are not good, risk for injuries and knee-problems.

Fantastic experience: Great sports complex, close to Shoreditch High Street Station. 3 outdoor padel courts, 9 pitches of 5-a-side football pitch, 2 pitches of 7-a-side football pitch, kids holiday camps, kids parties (a football birthday party), venue room hire, etc. You can rent padel rackets, and buy padel balls or other padel accessories.

Fantastic experience: We had a charity tournament organised there. It was a huge success and all people attended were extremely happy!

Negative experience: Do not give this business your credit card number. They will sign you up for some kind of £20 monthly fee which is basically impossible to get unsubscribed from.

Positive experience: Small grounds

Fantastic experience: We celebrated my son’s 8th birthday here. Excellent facilities- well looked after turf, clean nearby toilets, clean neat room. Incredible set up- table already laid out, lots of squash and freshYard Sale Pizza. My son and his friends had the best time. Massive thank you to coach Mo who was fantastic- great training drills making each child feel valued and lots of fun playing.

Negative experience: I signed up for a membership so I could book courts two weeks in advance, as I was planning a small work social and knew that after-work slots on Wednesdays and Thursdays are in high demand. I managed to book a 6:30 pm court on a Wednesday, but the next day I was told the booking had to be cancelled due to court maintenance. I asked if I could move the booking to Thursday evening or even the following Wednesday, but was told those slots were already taken by "corporate bookings." So essentially, I paid £40 (two months of membership) for nothing. Out of curiosity, I walked past the venue that Wednesday and unsurprisingly, there was no sign of any maintenance happening. If you're just looking to play padel on the weekends, I'm sure the courts themselves are great. But based on my experience, I’d avoid paying for a membership. It doesn’t seem to offer much value, especially if bookings can be cancelled without much flexibility or transparency.

Positive experience: Went to a kiddie birthday party and they had loads of fun playing football.

Negative experience: We travelled from abroad and brought sports gear for a stag event. It was double booked so we couldn’t do the event.

Positive experience: Great location, mean managers - they cut off floodlights if you’re playing after your time, even if there is nobody else booked there. Would be better if you asked us if we wanted to top up and keep playing. More football for us, more money for you.

Fantastic experience: We play here often as a group from work and it's always a good experience. They have thought of most things. The pitches are the perfect size and we'll looked after. Recommended it

Fantastic experience: Stag do bubble football at Powerleague Shoreditch. Great fun and Aaron was a class referee - definitely made the game more fun. Would definitely try this again.

Negative experience: Terrible service. Zero consideration or budging even when the weather is bad. We tried to reschedule our booking for today given that it’s raining and 3 out of 4 of us have had past knee injuries to be careful of. We had made the booking several days ago when the weather forecast was looking fine. Anyway, when we called to check if we could cancel or even move the booking, we were told quite rudely that nothing could be done and that we should have called 7 hours ago - on the app it says 12 hours, so the message there is inconsistent, and with zero care for our concerns re: exacerbating injuries in wet conditions. It’s understandable that refunding cancellations are at their discretion and unlikely to happen but to not even TRY and look into rescheduling was frankly unreasonable. Disappointed and will not be using these courts again.

Negative experience: No complaints reg infrastructure, but be prepared to pay 80,- even if you cant play due to storms. No rebooking allowed within 24h.

Positive experience: Good game x

Fantastic experience: the battleground. great location and well kept pitches

Negative experience: Low quality turf. Changing rooms are too small. Weird order used to number the different pitches. Pathways are a hazard so watch your step

Fantastic experience: Great for 5-a-side game. It’s smaller pitch but you still do a workout. The turf is in good condition. The bookings are for 1hr sessions. There’s also a changing room provided.

Fantastic experience: I play both Football ⚽️ & Padel here most weeks and it is truly an excellent value for money experience for both. The price is high compared to the national average but for Zone 1 London & in its excellent location below/around Shoreditch High Street it’s very reasonable. The pitches & courts are of excellent quality, they have invested in top quality facilities with high usage. For football, the 7 a side is quite compact compared to many others but it is also a cage style so to be expected. The Padel courts don’t have a roof but are fast draining/quick drying for when it rains. I’d also call out that the team running the Padel are particularly great and the Padel Coach Gonzalo is incredible

Fantastic experience: Good place for football. Not too expensive.

Positive experience: Bit expensive comparison to other local places & also 45mins to play instead of 1 hour.

Negative experience: The WORST football pitches I have ever played on due to the reduced size. The 7 a side pitch is the size of a small 5 a side pitch and the 5 side pitches are tiny, like something you'd see in a small children's playground. There are no out lines but just wooden walls so the ball never goes out. The pitch size makes the game horrible because the pitch is cramped so there is not enough time to control the ball or space for players to make runs. This makes the game feel like a pinball machine and boring because you can't make runs or create and use space. I will never return to play football at a Power league pitch because it is unfun and not enjoyable for those who like me want to play on standard size pitches and play football with space for runs and passes instead of just huddling in a tiny pitch like small school children. The changing rooms are stinky and small without lockers or private changing spaces and there is nowhere to put your bags so everyone has to dump their bags on the already miniscule pitch reducing it even further in size, risking the content of the bags, and hurting the playability of the pitch. On top of these negatives the nets above the pitches are too low so high passes get caught in it. I do not recommend playing here at all.

Fantastic experience: My grandson had his 8th birthday here yesterday. Jordan made the day he was fantastic, kept the children entertained, made sure they had enough breaks and enough to drink. He was on hand the whole time. The children had a fantastic time. Facilities....toilets so clean and more than one! Cups, plates and serviettes provided. Pizzas were good and plenty. Well worth the money, my grandson was given a trophy which was a lovely touch.

Negative experience: Change the surface. It's too hard and it will destroy your knees! That pitch was like playing in the 90s! No need for that.

Positive experience: Great fun, good staff. Not much to say really. I would advise to bring a change of clothes as it gets really hot and sweaty. Bring water too! Only reason it wasn’t 5 stars was because the previous group stayed 10 mins too long and we had 50mins instead of 1 hour.

Positive experience: The matches are only 45 minutes. There is no onsight parking. Quality of the pitches is good. We'll maintained.

Positive experience: Changing facilities and showers could be better. But the refs are good and keep control of things whilst keeping things light hearted.

Positive experience: You're always guaranteed a game at Shoreditch Powerleague, to play on pitches the size of tennis courts, and pay prices that end league seasons. Quite a phenomenon, but we do it to ourselves.

Positive experience: Usually come here weekly to play 5 a side. The pitches for 5 a side are slightly small, so you could get away with having 4 a side and it is a bit pricey however the pitches are very clean and the staff are nice.

Positive experience: A min from Shoreditch high street. Low hight net. Ideal for 5v5 players. Ample parking. Light snacks and drinks option available.

Fantastic experience: Staff always on point, facility tidy and clean. Pitches in good conditions too.

Fantastic experience: Incredibly good, love the pitches. Super central, in one of my favorite neighbourhoods of the city. Quite inexpensive considering london prices, but turf is literally amazing. My only wish was that it was possible to walk in or do something different to only reserving and paying online. Really like the fact that the ball doesn’t go out and that there’s a net over your head.

Negative experience: - Poor communication of what happens when a team needs to cancel their game e.g being charged after being told this wasn’t the case - No bibs supplied causing confusion in game play and making the experience in unenjoyable - Teams being charged inappropriately even if the game is just a non competitive friendly match - Teams being forced to pay money by playing a friendly game to earn a win after the other team has cancelled the game. Even if the team loses the friendly game they still earn a league game win so simply more money for powerleague at the expense of customer satisfaction is clearly the motivator here - False information advertised on the website with regards to game times causing teams to turn up at the wrong time and producing unnecessary charges for all parties involved -Lack of basic listening and stubbornness from staff members with teams being confused about game times being falsely advertised - Matches starting sometimes over 20 mins late - Referee making negative comments on teams in game performance e.g react quicker etc. which demoralises the team especially when they may have medical issues causing these types of problems. Referees should be unbiased and not influencing team approach

Negative experience: Terrible service, leagues are very badly organised. Staff aren't nice and just care about getting your money. Pitches are tiny. Other Powerleague centres are so much better.

Fantastic experience: Had a birthday party for my son today.He had 9 friends with him all 12 years old. Was brilliant. Communication ,with Freddie , before party was great. Marlon, the coach the boys had for afternoon, was brilliant with boys. Would highly recommend it.Thank you Power league.

Positive experience: Pros: Great open space and easily accessible. Pitches are in great condition. Cons: Smaller pitches, more expensive and shorter playing time compared to majority of the power leagues.

Positive experience: Decent pitch, feels quite short and narrow compared to other 5 a side pitches. But decent prices for 1 hour if booked on the evening on weekends. But price doubles and more if booked any other time which is quite annoying.

Fantastic experience: Agree on the "one of the most expensive football pitches to hire in London" and also on the fact that the location is really not bad. The pitches are actually really good, they just changed some of them and made them new so it's actually not bad. I play there (used to play there) every Sunday and Wednesday, played a couple of league games too, always had fun. Also, nice view.

Fantastic experience: One of the more expensive football pitches to hire in London, but due to the location it’s not too bad. The 5 a side pitches are a little on the small side but honestly if you’re not the fittest people around it kind of helps to keep it fun and high scoring. You can also hire bibs and footballs you just need to give them ID as a deposit which is really handy. Always had good service, no complaints

Fantastic experience: This place has pitches for hire as well as other activities such as extreme archery which is a bit like paintball without the paint but with bows and arrows. We visited this place for the begining of my friends stag party and it was an absolute riot. Highly recommended.
