Negative experience: Great facilty. However, paid for a competitive game that did not go ahead because one of the players did not show up. In this scenario they keep full payment from everyone. Very poor customer service.

Fantastic experience: Terrible decision to move away from playtomic! Top quality padel centre. Clean environment with some gym equipment and small games around courts. Friendly service with a on site cafe.

Fantastic experience: Isa is an outstanding member of rocket padel, and I think staff members like him are why rocket padel ilford is a cut above the rest in terms of padel communities and clubs in london. I often choose Rocket padel Ilford over other padel clubs because of the great community that they’ve created. Often when I visit other clubs, I feel that for the expensive prices I only really receive time on the court, and that’s all. But at Rocket Padel Ilford, the staff always makes us feel like part of the Rocket Padel community. I think the staff, in particular Isa, are a big reason why Rocket Padel Ilford feel more like a Padel club than just a room full of padel courts.

Negative experience: It’s become super expensive for no reason at all. Priced out a lot of early adopters. Can’t doubt the courts but it’s just too expensive

Negative experience: Facilities are great but the price discrimination is horrific. They started off at decent prices but over time it’s come to the point where they are charging £21/90mins which is ridiculous. They used to offer student discount, now they removed it to just off peak times. They even charge 25p to split . It’s genuinely ludicrous

Negative experience: Courts are great but the price discrimination and the regular price increases are really off putting. Recent move to even charge split fees shows they are all about the money.

Positive experience: The club is amazing but the decision to move to padel mates is horrific. It is the least user friendly app ever. And now because I don’t have padel mates premium I have to pay even more for courts but also now have a fairly useless playtomic premium. The ratings are also all over the place, so hard to find a decent game now.

Positive experience: Facilities are genuinely one of the best I’ve been to. Great little coffee set up with nice seating area and clean shower facilities. Moving away from Playtomic has been a shame - the new app is not user friendly. They’ve also increased prices sadly since the move. Plenty of free parking also so another bonus.

Negative experience: Service has been slacking recently, no longer what it was just a few months ago.

Negative experience: Courts need more sand the rebound is low. The lightning system is not good, it cant be straight in the sky hitting your eyes! Roof is not high , advanced players face problems with lobs. 20£ per hour for a demo racket is alot. And there should be a 2-3 staff members in the venue near the courts to communicate with the players and the guests you cant just leave a 10+ venue by just selling water and racket. Overall atmosphere of the venue was good. But there are technical dissatisfactions of the courts.

Fantastic experience: We visited Rocket Padel for the first time yesterday as they organised a Disability/Inclusive Open Day for SEND children. It was such a wonderful experience. The event was incredibly well thought out where a very welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment was created for all the children and families. From the duty manager to the volunteers and coaches, every single person was kind, helpful, patient and genuinely cared. My son felt included and had a fantastic time, and it was lovely to enjoy it together as a family. We are so grateful they had SEND children and families in mind and created a space that brought the community together. Highly recommend and really looking forward to more events like this. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable and included. The environment was friendly, safe, and supportive throughout. A big shoutout to Coach Tom – he was fantastic! Enthusiastic, patient, and flexible, he really connected with the kids and made sure everyone had fun while learning. His energy and positive attitude made a huge difference. There were thoughtful extras too – free snacks for the kids and even a complimentary tennis ball to take home, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend this place for families looking for inclusive and enjoyable sports sessions. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Negative experience: The courts themselves are great—both indoor and outdoor are well-kept and clearly maintained to a good standard. However, the lack of air conditioning is a serious issue, especially in this heat. It becomes very difficult to play safely or enjoy the game, and it's not hard to feel dizzy or overheated. Unfortunately, this really affects the overall experience. Until proper cooling is installed, it's hard to give more than 2 stars.

Fantastic experience: Just tried Padel for the first time at Rocket Paddle in Ilford with a friend, and we had a blast! We were pleasantly surprised by how well we did. The Ilford branch is fantastic – clean, spacious, with a really welcoming atmosphere and great amenities. The communal area for drinks (My friend really like one of their berry smoothies) and the mini gym for pre-game warm-ups are great touches. There are showers and dressing rooms on sight with Dyson hair dryers and my favourite Rituals hand soaps and cream which make the experience feel more “luxurious”. I'm already planning my next visit! It's a fantastic workout that doesn't feel like one. I'd highly recommend giving paddle a try. Also it can be quite affordable depending on whether you play Singles or Doubles (we accidentally booked a doubles court and it was just two of us and it worked out to be less than £20 each (my friend had student discount which helped bring the cost down) but if there were 4 people it’ll be around £5 each and we went at off peak time).

Fantastic experience: Very clean, modern and well-maintained padel court

Negative experience: A little disappointed as the last few occasions I have been the showers have been cold with no signs informing us that there is no hot water. Spoke to a member of the team two weeks ago and they told me there was an issue with the plumbing and plumbers would be fixing the issue. Still not fixed. I guess their standards are dropping in terms of urgent repairs and communication. Considering the price we pay to play, the bear minimum you would expect is hot showers.

Negative experience: So disappointing to see the dismissal of the Playtomic app. The new Padel Mates app is SO POOR. You can’t upload scores, it’s difficult to add players, you can’t get quick support. The app feels like it’s been made by a junior from college. I used to play 3-4 times a week, and because of this app have stopped playing. I know many many many others are in the same boat. Really disappointing. Moral: if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.

Negative experience: Visited this 2 times in the past both times I got a free racket as they have a student offer which provides free racket. I also previously emailed the manager to make sure the rackets would be free. When I got to the place, the manager on the floor was being very rude to me and showing very unprofessional attitude and costumer care. He said you either pay for a racket or you leave. Which is very unprofessional, I hope rocket padel can look into this person and train him properly. Otherwise its a great place with a great atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: It's amazing how much the club has changed since Abdullah became Duty Manager. There's a much warmer, more welcoming atmosphere now. You really feel part of a community - people don't just come to play padel anymore, they come to relax, have a coffee, and catch up with others. Abdullah brings a positive energy that makes the space feel alive. It's the kind of place you actually want spend time in, whether you're playing or not.

Fantastic experience: Spent a month in London and picked up padel; was a regular at Rocket Padel Ilford, great events, socials and the drinks at the end of each session was a nice bonus. Harry runs a great place, if I'm ever back in London, will be sure to come by for some socials

Negative experience: Appalling communication, they didn't answer my emails, they don't always answer the phone, and when they did, they were not helpful at all, giving me another email address that didn't work. I was in the area for a couple days and I wanted to try the facility out. Not knowing anyone, I was hoping the staff could help me arrange something, but there clearly was no interest to help. They just pointed me to playtomic app which I could have done on my own frankly

Positive experience: Deserves 5 starts but 1 serious issue, the lighting is blinding and in a game of padel where high balls will be played the lighting shouldn't blind players. Other than this it's a brilliant place and I enjoy it 3 times weekly.

Oskar, the manager, is incredibly welcoming and down-to-earth. All the coaches here are amazing, but Tom is an outstanding coach—one of the best—who also works with kids, which is rare to find. Harry, the café manager, is amazing; he ensures everyone is looked after and keeps the mood light with his great sense of humor. Jannah is also fantastic and always friendly. Plus, there’s a large car park with free parking, which is a great bonus!

I left my keys there today and called them and the staff member went and checked around to find them. Super helpful and much appreciated! Also, the app is quite cool. You can share the payment amongst friends and keep track of the scores.

We came for the first time after seeing the activity on tiktok and akshay sorted us out with a half an hour free season for trial. Positive experience: Had loads of fun but went on the hottest day and they had no AC so we were really sweaty but the girls toilets are massive with showers and they have Dyson hairdryers so I loved it
