The Padel Hub Crawley: Reviews
Positive experience: Indoor Padel Courts Free parking Welcoming staff Various salads sandwiches and snacks Hot drinks Bar with seating area and tables Padel bats and clothing available for purchase all this and clean showers and facilities
Negative experience: Really nice venue and great facilities, but the pricing model just doesn’t make sense. Pay-to-play is way too expensive, and even the memberships only work if you’re playing a lot. It’s a shame, because it’s a good setup, but it doesn’t really encourage new or casual players. Hopefully they review their prices as more courts open nearby, as it’s otherwise a great place to play.
Fantastic experience: Great Sussex open mens tournament last weekend. Beer on tap and great chicken club sandwich. Fantastic weekend.
Negative experience: £26.50 EACH for a 1.5 hour booking! Blimey
Fantastic experience: Amazing venue, was a really fun sport to play for the first time. Easy to understand.
Hi Archie, we’re so glad you gave padel a go - and even happier you had fun on your first try! Looking forward to seeing you back on court for round two!

Negative experience: Five excellent indoor courts located very close to the A23. Ample parking and a well stocked bar with 3 big screen TVs. The community is very friendly with plenty of options to join in group sessions/lessons which cover all levels from beginners to lessons from top Padel players within the UK. A nice amount of different memberships for all sorts of players. Where it is really lacking is the communication from the top and decisions made make absolutely no sense. Price increases of 40%+ to certain membership not mentioned, changed to terms and conditions not mentioned happening constantly, for example; limits on bookings, no more guest passes etc. So many examples like these continue to happen and it subtracts from what was, and could be, the best Padel facilities in Sussex.
Hi Liam,
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
We take feedback seriously - it helps us keep improving while keeping the spirit of play alive.
Think of it less like a smash at the net and more like a constructive rally - we’re listening, and the back-and-forth makes us better.
Our five courts, friendly community, and yes, that very well-stocked bar, are here to give members the best possible experience on and off the court.
We’d just like to set the record straight - no secret 40% price hikes hiding in the small print here!
We’ve always communicated changes with plenty of notice, and we’ll continue to do so because clarity and fairness matter to us as much as the game itself.
See you no court!

Fantastic experience: We had a small schedule clash due to rackets. Staff quickly rectified the situation. Where a lot of places would’ve said “not our problem” they not only they found a solution, but made us feel welcome every step of the way. We will see you again soon
Hi Bale,
Thanks so much for your kind words! We’re glad the team could get things sorted quickly - it’s all part of making sure you feel right at home here. Can’t wait to welcome you back on court soon!

Fantastic experience: If everyone was like Lyndsay alix the world would be a better place
Fantastic experience: Great place to play padel. Easy to book via the Playtomic app and you don't need to be a member to play here. Great member options (it's pricey but worth it if you play a few times per week) with a nice cafe and newly installed bathrooms and changing rooms. Highly recommended if you are interested in trying a new racket sport. Lots of good group coaching options and free intro sessions too.
Negative experience: Lovely place to play padel indoors. Good courts and wonderful showers (free towels for members). Best member of staff is Christian - polite, professional and excellent barista! Expensive venue which will make it difficult to justify unless you play multiple times in the week. Great group of friendly, rapidly improving players make it the place to play in Sussex atm. Sadly, not sure how long they will survive in business as everything seems to be about fleecing the members - prices fluctuate and mainly go up with no notification. Is priced as if in London but lacks the quality of clubs like Rocket Padel. Competition is coming as many covered courts open and I hope it won't cause a dispersal of a lovely group of players. Outside court is dangerously uneven and shouldn't be advertised as a court and shouldn't be charged for as it is a health hazard to anyone apart from a complete beginner.
Positive experience: My favourite place to play Padel, nothing like playing indoors. Great social, friendly atmosphere. Always stay for a coffee or a beer afterwards. Need some more food options and be good to get the mezzanine finished. Be nice to add a couple more touches like table tennis or pool. Membership rates are good if you play a few times a week but P2P is punchy.
Fantastic experience: Amazing club, great vibe and Lisa Phillips was an excellent coach!!
Fantastic experience: Nice clean pastel court.
Fantastic experience: A lovely padel centre Great place to play and be coached Great facilities
Fantastic experience: Great padel venue, all the staff are really helpful. L
Fantastic experience: I absolutely love going to the Padel hub ! The venue is great and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The social mix-ins are always very enjoyable. You can meet new people and have fun.
Fantastic experience: Love the facilities, staff is amazing
Fantastic experience: The best place to play Padel in West Sussex by far! The courts are in pristine condition, the staff are friendly and helpful and the club has a great vibe. I had a lesson with one of their coaches Alex, as a beginner he helped me learn where to stand on court and I even got onto using the walls. If you’re looking to get into Padel I would definitely recommend
Negative experience: Trying to find the costs. Obviously not included
Fantastic experience: Amazing facilities and super friendly coaches and staff
Negative experience: Great venue, lovely staff and nice facilities. Let down by consistent fluctuation in price with no change to membership, changing of opening hours without updating members (Would assume this would be at least a minimum expectation for the £179 gold membership price tag) and an unbalanced outdoor court. Also a £300 fee if you stop your membership and would like to rejoin within 3 months, interesting business model to say the least but seems profit supersedes membership satisfaction.
Negative experience: Indoor courts are great. All of the staff who work their are great. However The Membership experience is terrible. Change opening hours without informing you. Also they are often Late to open in the mornings as their is no staff working before the first booking, clearly an attempt to squeeze every possible margin. Outdoor court is wonky. The price to pay as you go became significantly cheaper with no change in membership, they also moved goal posts with membership benefits a number of times. When you cancel they will send you an email saying if you rejoin you will need to pay £300, didn't even bother to ask why people have cancelled. Luckily lots of competition is popping up locally so the monopoly is gone.
Fantastic experience: I visited last night to watch my husband play. The courts are the best around. It's a great venue, clean and has a good atmosphere. The bar is well stocked and the bar prices are reasonable. All the staff are lovely but special mention to Scarlett, she was most welcoming and looked after our party very well.
Fantastic experience: Scarlett’s the best front of house at Padel hub. Very welcoming
Fantastic experience: Loved my time at the Padel hub!
Fantastic experience: Cracking Padel venue
Fantastic experience: Great place, has good indoor courts and nice viewing area. Great social aspect here everyone is very welcoming. Also nice bar with good choice of beers on tap. Only frustration is why it opens at 7am, all health clubs and gyms normally open at 5am of 6am - makes a morning game too rushed in the week for getting to work on time. Please see if this can be changed.
Fantastic experience: Amazing staff and amazing facilities would definitely recommend.
Fantastic experience: Very friendly, don’t know what I would do with out it!
Fantastic experience: Such great staff. Shout out to Matt Hay he is the kindest gentleman
Fantastic experience: Best indoor Padel venue in Sussex. Great courts and facilities including free towels for members. Lindsay, Matt (El Boss) and Scarlett on reception are very helpful too.
Negative experience: Facilities are great, but the rackets we hired were terrible. The staff were like “it’s fine” 3 of the 4 rackets we hired were like this. For the amount we paid you’d expect better.
Negative experience: Beautiful club and facilities but much too expensive. £60/hour pay as you play not affordable for most people and way above other centres in the UK.
Fantastic experience: Nice courts, reception & bar.
Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough about the set up here. As a newcomer to Padel, everyone is so welcoming. Huge kudos to Allan and his team for providing a world class environment and an even better playing experience. Vamos!
Fantastic experience: Superb Padel facility with friendly staff and a great vibe. You do nor have to be a member as you can pay and play...Great hit and mix sessions every week with plenty of people to play of mixed abilities, which is a super way to get fun games in!
