Fantastic experience: Held my daughter’s 16th birthday here and the room was absolutely perfect for it. The staff were so helpful and friendly, if we needed anything there was always someone available to help. We were able to decorate the room however we wanted as my daughter went for a Halloween themed party. Crewe vagrants is top of my list for places I will be contacting for future events. I would highly recommend holding a function here, we used their recommended room dresser Cath and she provided everything extra that we didn’t even think to make the room that little bit extra special. James and his staff are 5* in my opinion

Positive experience: Hockey, cricket and rugby have now been joined by two new paddel courts.

Positive experience: Plenty of parking. Friendly club. Do great teas after my team have played here.

Fantastic experience: Had our wedding here on Friday and had the most incredible day! Staff were all great to work with and really went out of their way to ensure the day was set up how we wanted and that an epic party was had by all!

Fantastic experience: On behalf of Mr & Mrs Cooke who held their joint 90th birthday lunch at the club. We had a fantastic experience from the 1st minute to the last, as did all our guests. The room was set out beautifully, the quality of food was excellent and the staff were attentive, professional and beyond helpful. A superb experience !

Positive experience: Could do with updating, also drinks a bit overpriced for a social club. Toilets often locked which isnt great. Clean and tidy, freindly atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: We had an excellent night, the venue is first class! It was the perfect place for our disco on the longest night of the year. We could spill out into the outside area and enjoy cooling down out there a while. Thanks for the smooth operation and arrangements, Ollie and to the helpful staff on the night.

Fantastic experience: We had a great Stars in their eyes party at the Vagrants. The room was done up brilliantly with a stage with curtains to come through, lovely bar staff and nice buffet. All well arranged and planned too.

Fantastic experience: Ollie and his team provide fantastic service. Great venue for our Classic Car Rally start and finish. Good, well priced food and drinks. Their function room provides a great atmosphere. Used for the first time at the beginning of March and are rebooking for 2026.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for all your hard work on Sunday everyone enjoyed their lunch Presentation and service were very good, attractive round tables and place layout with comfortable seating. Very good bar staff. Great room suitable for a variety of group sizes, pleasantly decorated with good natural light and outlook. Cheese selection, biscuits and accompaniments were excellent. Puddings - terrific. The vegetarian and g/f dishes were good. Also the beef was a winner. Nice hot food on a cold day.

Fantastic experience: We held our wedding party at The Vagrants. Previously we saw the club full of muddy rugby players! It was amazing the transformation of the space- it was do classy and a top rate venue for our do. Ollie from the offset 6 months before was brilliant in helping us plan and recommended a brilliant DJ. The night could not have been more special and we would highly recommend using the club for any special occasion.

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic time for our 25th anniversary. The food was delicious, (we had the hot buffet), particularly the sausages and Eton Mess! The bar staff were great and the room is lovely.

Positive experience: Pretty average sports venue available for hire for parties, sports or other community-hall-style events.

Fantastic experience: Myself and a group of motorcycle riding friends attended a motorcycle rally held at this club in September 2005. I am able to remember this date so precisely as myself, and a lady I know, conceived a son in our tent when we awoke hungover on the Sunday morning and he was born in June 2006. Anyway conceiving children aside we had a great time here, the club building was excellent, there were several good bands on and we all drank too much of the fine beer available. I've been to another rally here since (can't even remember the year) and it was just as good. Thanks for everything Crewe Vagrants.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Olli and the team. We held our annual family fun day at the sports club which was thoroughly enjoyable. Quick response from Olli and the hospitality throughout the day was brilliant, anything we queried was dealt with professionally and friendly. We certainly won't hesitate to hire out the sports club again for any future events, great job! :)

Positive experience: Our daughter's wedding reception was held here. A decent sized room for about 70 people (could accommodate more), a good-sized dance floor. Friendly staff and a nice outlook over the cricket field (good for cooling off). Room dresser, caterer and DJ recommended by the venue were excellent. Very large car park.

Fantastic experience: What a great venue for a party, had my wife's 60 birthday bash here, helpful friendly staff and very accommodating. A great buffet selection which was excellent on the night, and competitively priced. A great all-round experience and a night to remember. Will definitely be booking this again in the future.

Fantastic experience: This was the second time we have used this venue for an 'Old Boys' reunion of the Crewe Grammar school for Boys (Class of '63) and it was again ideal for our requirements. The buffet and desert provided was excellent and the room ideal. I can recommend the Vagrants Club as a venue for hire.

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend Ollie and his team at the Vagrants enough- we held our regular Charity Bingo night last Friday and they couldn’t do enough to help us. The communication prior to the evening was superb and everything promised was delivered. This makes our job as organisers so much easier - so big thank you to all.

Fantastic experience: Last Saturday 1st July we held a walking hockey festival at Crewe Vagrants Sport Club. I would like to thank the Club for all their help in organising this Event. The Club manager and bar manager went out of their way to assist us every way. The kitchen provided food throughout the day and the bar was open for refreshments. The atmosphere was amazing thanks to the support of the Staff before the event and on the day itself. Their advice and suggestions made for a well organised and relaxed festival event. If you are planning to hold any sort of celebration I would highly recommend you speak to someone at the Crewe Vagrants Sports Club.

Positive experience: I personally go there for the boot fair but there is facilities for coffee and tea and toilets

Fantastic experience: Excellent party night there, the place was immaculate with everything set out as we had asked. DJ Snowy all ready to go and Simon and his team behind the bar and on hand for help. Great spread from Roaches Roasters and cakes from Jan's occasional cakes. The Vagrants were very accommodating allowing us to drop things off and pick up later. Would highly recommend this venue.
