Positive experience: Is nice for football but facilities are a little dated and not so looked after

Positive experience: Grass football pitches were good quality. A but of a slope on some of them though

Negative experience: The facility's are great! But sadly it is let down by the rude staff member on reception- I have never met someone like that - especially in a customer facing role! I approached calmly and with respect to address I thought she was rude the way she shouted across the reception and her reply was 'I actually don't care' with a giggle. When I then stated I will be requesting the managers details when leaving- yet again she giggled and said 'I am the manager'. Also gave sarcastic comments as I walked away from the situation.

Fantastic experience: I gym here regularly and play football Great place. Good service and clean.

Negative experience: Every Tuesday my colleagues play ball in the center of Coldharbour, I have nothing to complain about the fields, but I had an unpleasant night with the attitude of the old blonde receptionist, she is totally unbalanced and unprepared to deal with people, she even threatened us saying that she would cancel our Tuesday games (as if this was the only field for rent), but I am more relieved because after everything she did, she took a good fall on the ground and came out spitting fire.

Negative experience: I came to Cold Harbour Leisure Centre recently to use the football pitches, and I have to say — the facilities themselves were great. The pitch was well-maintained, clean, and perfect for a proper game. No complaints there at all.Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the customer service at the front desk. The woman at reception was incredibly rude and unhelpful from the moment I arrived. She acted like I was bothering her just by asking a basic question. No greeting, no effort to assist — just a dismissive attitude that made the whole experience feel unwelcoming. It’s a shame, because the pitches are excellent. But first impressions matter, and the attitude at reception really took away from what could have been a great visit. I hope this is taken seriously by the centre’s management — the facilities deserve better representation.

Negative experience: I visited Cold Harbour Leisure Centre recently and was shocked by the rude and dismissive attitude of the woman working at reception . she came across as impatient and unprofessional. she spoke to me in a tone that was unnecessarily harsh and condescending. As a public-facing staff member, especially at a community leisure centre, I would expect much better. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way, and unfortunately, that was completely lacking in this interaction. It left a really negative impression and made me question whether I want to return. I hope management addresses this, as experiences like this can really damage the centre’s reputation.

Negative experience: One Star - Awful Reception Staff I'm writing this review based on a recent experience at this leisure center that left me incredibly disappointed and frankly, quite angry. My son and I visited yesterday hoping to enjoy a swim, but our visit was soured before we even got to the pool. The receptionist on duty was unbelievably rude. From the moment we approached the desk, she was dismissive and seemed annoyed by our presence. When my son asked a simple question about the pool schedule, she rolled her eyes and gave a sarcastic response. I was taken aback by her attitude, and it only got worse when I tried to clarify a point about the membership options. She spoke to me in a condescending tone, making me feel like I was wasting her time. Honestly, the leisure center itself seemed fine, but the attitude of the receptionist completely ruined our experience. Customer service is key, and this individual needs serious training in basic manners and communication skills. Because of this encounter, we won't be returning.

Fantastic experience: Loads on offer and they have a huge football ground.

Positive experience: It is a nice place, quite clean, at the reception people are always nice and willing to help. But during the winter is difficult to stay on the gym without heating. Not always but many times is too cold. And the changing rooms can’t be accessed as there is a never ending code and I just give up with it.

Positive experience: Small but not crowded with helpful staff. Freshly updated equipment with a new layout. Now with the cafe open for light snacks and alcohol amd soft drinks. Soon to refab a portion of the gym

Fantastic experience: The gym equipment is in very good condition, staff are nice and know how to do their jobs well, this centre is a definite go to for anyone who likes working out

Positive experience: Parking is not easy, but otherwise all's good.

Negative experience: No notice that the gym would be shut today for the staff annual training day. Could have easily put notices up around the gym. The condition of some of the equipment is poor (leg extension machine noticeably poor). Some of the reception staff are nice but 1 in particular doesn’t make any effort to welcome people.

Negative experience: Gym too expensive for the size and equipament provided

Fantastic experience: Went here to see a grassroots football match on Sunday, the centre has a car park just by the entrance, inside a few changing rooms and toilets, outside a few big football pitches.

Positive experience: I am so sorry but I find this place so depressing! It’s small and stinks of people’s sweat. Machines are always busy and you need to avoid peak times of you want to train properly. The staff is lovely though. But I have cancelled the membership because it’s too ugly.

Negative experience: Today I have visit Coldharbour leisure, we are members more then an year now. We was there ( me and my 15 years old son) and the lady who works there come and let as know that we can use the gym for 17 minutes as we have been too late in her opinion. We was there 5:30 am and 17 minutes late the lady who works there come and tell us that we have to leave immediately. That is the worst customer service ever! She was extremely rude ( as I said we are customers for more than year and that was the drop that refilled the cup. She has been complaining for something very time we are there). I have asked her to cancel our membership and she answered “ Okay “, don’t even try to apologise and explain what the rules are. I absolutely disappointed from the service there as we have been visiting also Better Eltham and Sidcup and m never had this bad experience as in Coldharbour.

Fantastic experience: Great gym and centre. Excellent balance of machines and classes for all levels of fitness and strength. Staff are all attentive and friendly. Monthly membership includes all sorts of classes and as a man who does weights I never thought of doing Pilates & Aerobics until now but they really have improved my flexibility and conditioning. And the showers are good too. Thanks Coldharbour!

Positive experience: Currently being used as a vaccination centre. Choose your time carefully! Sunday morning just before 10.00, the car park was jammed with people arriving for sports as well as those for vaccinations.

Positive experience: Most of the staffs are nice and friendly, one of them is a bit grumpy for some reasons. The changing rooms could be nicer but I like this location for their playground for the kids and the pitches is superb. The grass pitches could be better and more look after but their artificial pitches is top quality.

Positive experience: Staff is very nice, and the gym is usually quiet. However there is some need in refreshing the machines, and also they close way to early on weekends. The gym should be open until 20:00hrs on weekends.
