Negative experience: Nice venue and very good to have the option of booking single courts. There would be three more stars in this review if they hadn't switched from Playtomic to Padel Mates, which is a disgustingly low quality app made by money grabbers. If they weren't the only venue offering single courts in Bristol (at present at least) I'd have switched to a different venue rather than a different app. Such a shame.

Positive experience: Great place to play Padel. Best in Bristol IMO . Only reason I'm giving 3 stars is due to the new super unfriendly app we have to use. Playtomic was great, padel mates on the other hand is anything but. Please go back to Playtomic. All I'm hearing is complaints from padel players around me.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Couldn’t make my time slot due to traffic. Rang up to see if I could move it to a later time after checking to make sure they had available courts. You could do this last year, however, this time they were very unaccommodating. I was a regular customer at Rocket but will be taking my custom elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: A fantastic padel court with well-maintained facilities and a great atmosphere! The courts are in excellent condition, and the booking process is smooth via app. Plenty of space around the courts, good lighting for evening games, and a friendly staff that ensures everything runs smoothly. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, it’s a great place to play. There’s also a nice cafe on-site, perfect for a coffee after a game. Plus, parking is convenient and hassle-free.

Negative experience: My wife and I had booked a court for 9am this morning (Monday), however had to call and see if we could move it to another day due to our daughter being sick through the night. Without any hesitation or attempt at understanding, I was told it’s way too late for a refund and we all must abide by the same rules (even though the every other court was still available for this morning at 9am too). As a returning customer who wanted to move a booking and not cancel it for a refund, Rocket may have just pocketed £22, but they’ve lost any future business from us

Fantastic experience: Great padel venue, good courts and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to Rocket Padel and I was pretty impressed with the setup. Make sure that you enter your registration to get the 3 hours free parking.Lots of good quality courts (even a couple of singles courts) and excellent facilities with a cafe and lovely changing rooms.

Positive experience: Lovely when it first opened but starting to show a bit of wear and tear now (leaky roof!)

Fantastic experience: Excellent friendly club, one of the best and largest in the UK, and in my experience better than most in Europe. Friendly staff and really good facilities, including 2 singles courts.

Negative experience: Good facility but do not use for business as they cannot issue VAT receipts. I have emailed several times requesting a VAT receipt and have not received any response. I did plan on establishing a networking group with monthly Padel sessions etc but I am now doing this at Surge Padel instead because of the issues I have had.

Negative experience: Booked a court on line this morning; called the club 3 minutes later to ask if court could be moved by 1 hour. I was told I could not do that without paying the full fee again. I understand the need for a cancellation policy, but I don't think a simple change of time to another available slot should be penalised like this.

Fantastic experience: Was class actually. First time playing, they have about 10 courts, all in good condition which you can pre-book. Thought it was silly that you pay an extra £3 to rent a racket - you'd think that would be included, especially for £15. M+ F communal shower rooms available, nice but a little gritty under foot. Quite slippy when wet. They also have cold drinks available and a coffee machine. Looking forward to returning.

Fantastic experience: We all love Rocket Padel tennis. The place is amazing and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We're new to the sport but we've been back loads of times. We took my son and his friends today for his birthday and they all had a brilliant time. The kind man who served us gave him a Rocket cap for his birthday. My son was so happy. We'll definitely go back again!

I think it’s the nicest padel centre in Bristol with great courts and cafe/toilet/changing facilities. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Great Padel Club, all the staff are very friendly. The courts play great, fast, but the carpet is becoming very flat and very quick. More general maintence, brushing and perhaps some sand might help.

Fantastic experience: Amazing padel establishment, the best in Bristol. Staff is very friendly and a lot of events are organised here. The social side of it is great as well as plenty of space to sit and chat and a lot of variety in drinks and a few snacks/food. A bit more pricey compared to the other pade places in Bristol but it’s worth.

Fantastic experience: Strongly recommend you visit and play some Padel. The setting is incredibly clean and staff are very kind. You can live stream your game using a link and that’s pretty cool! Rackets, Balls and all accessories are in perfect condition. If you visit once, you will be going back for more fun!

Fantastic experience: One of the biggest padel clubs in the UK. Reception is nice with a padel equipment shop attached to it. You can have drinks and a pint as well. There are plenty of well maintained courts with good facilities. Crash courses and classes are also available via Playtomic app. Huge parking lot. Good location. 5/5

Marcus and his staff are amazing, always offering their time and support. The courts are of the highest standard and there’s the added bonus of the coffee shop / bar area for in between times. Fantastic experience: Recently headed down with some friends as complete beginners. After 10minutes and some coaching tips with Roxy we had well and truely caught the padel bug. Been back again today and already getting more confident on the court. Highly recommend and the facilities are fantastic!

Fantastic experience: I'm relatively new to Padel and absolutely loving it! Coming from a background in squash and tennis, I've been able to adapt my skills quite quickly. Rocket is hands down my favourite centre – the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, with courts in excellent condition. The atmosphere is great, especially with the music playing, making it a very social experience. Recently, I introduced my 9-year-old son to the game, and he's now attending classes with Kareem, who is fantastic. He's completely hooked – we even celebrated his birthday there last week, and he received a free court, a shout-out on the loudspeaker and a Rocket cap, which he refuses to take off! I can't recommend this Padel centre enough – keep up the good work!

I’ve tried other padel places in bristol, but the welcome, facilities, vibes and people I’ve met has been awesome! The staff have been so kind, approachable, helpful, accommodating and even funny (the picture is of a padel birthday gig they helped us put on on a Saturday afternoon!) Thoroughly recommend this place, and it’s the only place I think in the country but definitely in bristol that has single courts as well normal courts! Big up Rocket

The venue hosted 50 players from 25 companies supporting St. Peter's Hospice in February 2024, across Bristol, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The staff were incredibly accommodating, ensuring everyone felt welcome and supported throughout the event. Marcus, the Centre Manager, kicked things off with a fantastic introduction, providing insights into the sport's history and setting the perfect tone for the tournament. The courts and changing facilities were immaculate. Overall, it was a really great experience, we had lovely feedback from those that attended, and we can't wait to visit Rocket Padel again. Positive experience: Lovely venue, amazing coaching sessions from both coaches who are knowledgeable, good at coaching and really engaging !! The venue is airy with high ceiling. You can buy all the gears you need on site, from racket to shoes, perfect for ad hoc matches (if you could book a court). Great and modern facilities, locker and hair dryer in the bathroom. Would be nice to have separate shower then a group one or just add more curtains. Henry was very friendly and attentive to everyone, very efficient to serve all the pints even there were 48 people waiting ! It would be so good to have a table tennis or pool table to keep people/ non players entertaining
