Fantastic experience: Great club with great atmosphere, Alvaro is a top guy, super friendly and helpful and always available to assist where needed. I have been having lessons at the club since the start of the year with Sean, he has transformed my game and helped me improve so much, would thoroughly recommend.

Positive experience: Well maintained courts and very reasonably priced. Only giving it a 4* as all 4 of the racquets we hired were broken and didn’t have much bounce on them. The club probably need to replace the broken ones and implement fines for anyone who breaks them

Positive experience: I recently booked a court and on the whole it's decent with some reservations to consider. *The booking process is a bit convoluted *The contact phone number is an international number which is a bit disconcerting *The location isn't particularly clear *The racquets available for hire at £3 are broken and largely unusable *The whole place is a bit grubby Aside from that the staff were very friendly and helpful and there is a bar and seating area.

Fantastic experience: I’ve played here several times and always have a great experience. The courts are excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. It’s also the most affordable Padel club in the area, which makes it even better. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Besides the staff who are extremely polite this place is not it, first and foremost the postcode doesn’t really show you where the place is it takes you to the middle of nowhere two in other venues you get to borrow padel rackets for free for as long as you put them back in the locker. They rent you rackets for £3 but they are absolutely terrible mostly broken and you can’t play properly With them. The paddle court isn’t all that either the ball barely bounces properly and the toilets absolutely stink I’d rather piss myself then use them toilets. Definitely won’t be going back!

Negative experience: Very poor level of surfacing, having played in over 100+ courts worldwide This has to be the worst surfacing I’ve ever played on, literally dead spots all across the court not one but 6-7 Cheap surfacing with layers showing ontop of layers. It’s okay for beginners who just want to experience what Padel is but for anyone who is not a beginner I would definitely not recommend this

Fantastic experience: Waltham abbey is an awesome club, run by great people! We were super impressed by the facilities, the atmosphere and especially the paella! Cannot wait to come again.

Fantastic experience: If you have any interest in padel or looking for a sport that is accessible to all ages and fitness levels, that is social, fun and great to play come down and give it a go, you will not regret it. I have been playing here since July and the game is so fun and accessible that I am absolutely obsessed. The staff and other players are very friendly and welcoming and the venue is brand new (June 2023) so in good condition etc. Prices are very reasonable especially compared to many venues nearby in north London. Hot drinks and some other cold refreshments and snacks are available during staffed hours and the club also has some rackets and balls for sale at good prices if you want to buy your own equipment. the courts can be accessed from early morning to late at night using the code pad on the gate with the code on your booking in the matchi app. The club runs various group training sessions, drop in games, kids sessions, tournaments and social event days and will be running more in the new year. Private lessons are also available with deals for bundles of lessons. It would be great to see at least a couple of the courts covered in the future to allow for all weather play, but the drainage on the courts is very good so at least the water clears fast and well.

Fantastic experience: Loved coming here, there was such a warm and lively community atmosphere that I felt at home, despite not being very sporty myself, and really enjoyed playing! The courts and equipment were great and I didn't feel intimidated at all due to never having played before. This is a great place to come if you're wanting to come with friends for a serious game or a casual meet up, as the staff are so friendly and chilled out, so the environment is just great. Definitely coming back (and again, I'm not sporty, but this won me over!)

Positive experience: Nice outdoor padel courts, just built this year. It's next to the Waltham Abbey Skatepark. There are 6 of them and can all be booked through Matchi.

Positive experience: Great that there are padel courts here but they are unfortunately of poor quality. The courts are simply not flat plus the AstroTurf surface has seams running through it. Both of these issues cause uneven bouncing of the balls which was very frustrating play on.
