Negative experience: Got my racket restrung by Mark the tennis shop Owner, I am not happy with it as he used a stringing tension that was not agreed after trying to sell me everything under the sun, I played with the racket twice and the strings were moving a lot, I went back to Mark and asked him the stringing tension he used and he said 23kg which is outside the recommended tension so I ask if he could re string them in the recommended tension and he said yes but at the full price!

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of the club for a couple of years now: relearning an old hobby through coaching and social hits. I've loved every minute. The atmosphere is open and welcoming. The club has great outreach into the local community so it's very inclusive. The coaching is exceptional and great fun.

Fantastic experience: My son recently had his 6th birthday party at Skipton Tennis Centre and they were amazing from start to finish. Organising was really easy and the day itself was a great success. Ben, the coach was excellent and the children played a variety of sports/games. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My sons had a truly amazing experience participating in tennis camp on various days throughout the summer holiday, they couldn't wait to go back each time! The environment felt safe, the tennis camp was extremely well organised and, above all else, it was hugely fun. Thank you to Adam, Ella and the team at Skipton Tennis Centre for everything.

Fantastic experience: Really excellent summer club for our 7 and 5 year old boys. They love going and have lots of fun there. The staff and coaches are great and the boys have made some lovely friends there too.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous family tennis club! The coaches are awesome and always smiling whatever the weather, they cater for every level and every age. We always feel very welcome, looked after and included. Mark from the shop goes out of his way to help you. Fully deserving of the LTA club of the year.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say what a great club STC is. I started learning and playing tennis when I retired. I wasn’t sure how it would work out but Adam was really welcoming. The club has players of all ability levels, with coaching and activities to suit, including social and competitive tennis on excellent courts. These were recently improved with the addition of floodlights and the club has ambitious plans to develop facilities further following its well-deserved award of LTA National Club of the Year. I’ve found it really friendly and inclusive from day one, even down to the well-stocked club shop where I was able to get kitted out at reasonable cost. I was quickly playing regularly and continue to three years on. If you’re thinking about taking up tennis but feel a bit unsure I can only say give Adam a call and give STC a try.
