Roehampton Club

Fantastic experience: On Wednesday, 22nd October, 2025, we (group of 3 adults), enjoyed a wonderful day of golf. The course was very enjoyable, a lovely mix of short and long holes, and despite the greens being treated (standard, this time of year), they still rolled well. We enjoyed pre-golf coffee / snack and indulged in a wee bit of post-golf beer! Special shout out to Mr Patel (Course Marshal) who provided a warm welcome to us all. All the best, Jim, Rob, Sam.

Positive experience: Well kept golf course, though a bit flat and relatively small in area. Fabulous bar and restaurant areas. Lots of other sports options available in addition to golf.

Fantastic experience: I was a guest as it is a private members club. Wow, would do it justice. Great facilities, excellent food and drink and service. If your into sport and relaxation this is the place, however there is a four year waiting list.

Fantastic experience: Went to Wimbledon qualifying! Brilliant tennis action, cheap tickets and plenty of availability.

Positive experience: Good facilities however beware the pool will be very busy as soon as the weather is over 30°C and sunny.

Really delicious food, great value, lots of good choices, well presented and just consistently tasty. Love coming here! Service is friendly and always welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful time at Roehampton Golf Club! The course was in excellent condition, providing a fun and challenging game. After finishing our round with my Norwegian friend, we headed to the café area, which was the perfect spot to unwind. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, with a great selection of snacks and drinks. It was just what we needed after a good game of golf. The staff were friendly and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing day of golf in a beautiful setting!

Fantastic experience: We came here for a wake today. The staff were excellent, the food was excellent, everything happened as per the order. The club has ample parking, the garden room has a lovely view, very comfortable, air conditioning. I cannot speak too highly of the Roehampton Club. Well done.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing club with a gated entrance, security, large car parks for members and visitors. It is set in a massive area and includes a full 18-hole golf course, 28 tennis courts (10 grass), padel courts, squash courts, croquet lawns, swimming pools (indoor & outdoor), gym & fitness studio. I couldn't afford to be a member here but enjoyed spending 3 days, as part of a racketlon tournament.

Fantastic experience: Charity Golf Day. Made very welcome. By the members. All facilities were made available.

Fantastic experience: Went to watch the Wimbledon Qualifiers here and they have really improved the experience since we came here pre-Covid. Keeping visitors away from players and officials worked better and meant that toilet facilities were much improved and choice of food and drink. Shaded areas with seating were also much appreciated. A fabulous experience and great value for money. Prefer this tournament to the main event!

Fantastic experience: Had agreat day at the Roehampton Club today with The Golf Club Secretary's Open qualifying event - the golf course played very well and the greens were excellent. All of the facilities are outstanding (many quality tennis and other racket sports courts, gyms, swimming pools, health spa, etc) and every member of staff that I met were smiling, friendly and helpful. The meal after play was lovely. Definitely five stars

Fantastic experience: Well manicured greens, pristine fairways and a short but challenging layout. Good food at the restaurant - british fare for the most part. A lovely crèche with a playground attached keep ghe kids occupied as well.

Positive experience: Very spaces, lots of flowers and bushes and green grass, very idyllic claiming, ideal for relaxing after work, also good for young families with children as it has many outdoor games. The service is good and friendly. But food is quite ordinary.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of this club my entire life and wanted to post a review to say that they have been amazing during this awful year. Facilities have opened fast and been in perfect condition, the golf course has been exceptionally busy but looks pristine, and the Covid-requirements have been handled immaculately. There are, of course, those who would rather risk their health and that of others, so that they are not inconvenienced. I felt safe at all times when visiting the club and I thought their arrangements exemplary. I have been lucky enough to visit all the clubs in London and the SE - Roehampton is, for so many reasons, absolutely the best, and I love it.

Negative experience: Took Covid restrictions to a new and brainless extreme: 45 minute gym sessions to account for a 15 minute disinfecting phase (!), must wear mask for the 2 metres between the entrance of the health club and the gym, the list goes on.... soon they'll have us wearing masks while playing tennis! If anyone is considering becoming a member, I'd urge you to take your business elsewhere...

Fantastic experience: Went to the Roehampton club with our neighbours as they are members of this establishment. Had a carvery lunch, which is highly recommended and very tasty. Desserts are also excellent so i had to try 2 of them, just to be sure

All the pros in the tournament commented that they were at tour standard. I'd highly recommend the golf but honestly not sure how easy it is for visitors to get on.

Fantastic experience: Amazing club that offers more than we could have every hoped for in a sports club. We can play golf, tennis and squash all in one place. We also like using the gym and the classes and the outdoor pool in the summer. The facilities for children are also incredible. Mini tennis courts and many play facilities. We can’t even imagine SW London life without Roehampton Club anymore!

Fantastic experience: Roehampton Club Deceptive from the outside, the Club houses are beautifully presented 18-hole golf course, 30 tennis courts with ten fabulous grass courts, table tennis tables, six glass-backed squash courts, four international standard croquet lawns – one of them floodlit, and heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The gym was redeveloped during 2017 and houses the latest, top-of-the range Technogym equipment along with three studios including a group cycle studio. Also available on site are the Tulloch Clinic – a physiotherapy and beauty clinic, and a crèche run by Tinies. Along with a thriving social scene, the dedicated bridge and snooker rooms and an art studio with a range of classes offered provide further opportunities for Members to try new things, improve their skills and enhance their well being.

Fantastic experience: We had a wedding to attend but came to the rear entrance and was greeted by a friendly security guard who guided us to the correct area. The roehampton club has beautiful greenery and has wonderful sculptures. All the staff were really nice and friendly, the area is also really clean and tidy.

Fantastic experience: We played golf and enjoyed the course. It's short but good fun and well maintained. Only down side was one of the lads was told he wasn't allowed to wear ankle socks with his shorts...most courses have moved on years ago from petty rules like this, so hopefully Roehampton follows suit
