Fantastic experience: Great outdoor courts and good indoor!

Positive experience: Very highly priced compared to other padel courts around London and somewhat lower quality courts and facilities compared to cheaper options. Additionally there is no phone number to contact them on their website which is a tell sale sign the company does not aim to provide good customer support. The fact that when you click 'contact us' on the website it just takes you to a bio of their directors, and only has a email and Instagram at the very bottom of the page says a lot about why the company is set up. The staff were also somewhat non-existent as they were playing pickleball whilst we waited for several minutes at the bar for drinks each time we went up.

Fantastic experience: Great experience playing padel with my family. It was fun, enjoyable for all of us, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Positive experience: Went off peak and it was brilliant fun. Prices are high but it's London and Padel. Pickleball was good value.

Negative experience: Customer service poor - enquired about a corporate event at their venue and was offered a price pretty soon after, said I wanted to proceed and aske hows best to pay and after several chasers still nothing back. Followed up on a new thread and turns out they now have no availability so we've been left with no venue.

Fantastic experience: Wandsworth has great Padle courts. Really great spot, and big fan! Re cancellation, literally your staff said it was unsafe, and was just asking for a credit, not a refund — seems a bit harsh the email response and the one on this comment. Onwards.

Fantastic experience: The Padel Yard in Wandsworth is honestly one of the best places I’ve ever experienced in my 13 years living here. I started going about two years ago just to enjoy the fun vibes, and I loved it right away. The place feels so welcoming with 3 outdoor courts and 3 indoor courts, so you can play no matter the weather, a small bar, tables, tasty street food, pottery painting classes, and more. The staff are super friendly, helpful, and professional, making it a perfect spot to enjoy padel, live sport, grab a drink, have some food, or even play table tennis. It’s really the perfect hangout spot for all! I’m not sure how long it will stay open, but I’m looking forward to visiting Vauxhall Padel Yard soon!

Positive experience: Such lovely atmosphere and energy/vibe. Good choice of eating and drinking options. Lively in the evening with players and spectators alike. Best to book in advance. Rackets can be hired and balls can be bought. If you’re just starting out and hiring…the cost of a visit can start to add up. But if you take to Padal you’ll be a convert before you know it. Surprised they didn’t sell merchandise!

Positive experience: A fun place, we played some table tennis and had a couple of drinks, it's a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Negative experience: Bit of a messy venue, glasses/cups everywhere. The walkway to the changing rooms were messy, had water on the floor, the little reception beside the Padel court was dirty, dusty and was not unhygienic. The staff were polite but it looked a dump.

Negative experience: A great place to place padel, always a vibe in the sun. But the staff at the bar really struggle to deal with customers, massive lines and only one bartender. Probably some more training or better management needed.

Negative experience: Customer service is atrocious. I emailed to enquire about a group booking. No reply. 2 weeks later went in person to ask and was told to email. Emailed again and received a short unhelpful response.

Positive experience: Lost a bit of its magic compared to last year. POD golf and pottery additions seems like wasted space. Removed the big tv screen and all the outdoor sofa chairs which gave amazing vibes especially when sport was on. For padel virtually impossible to get a court after work midweek. And the indoor courts seems a bit shabby now compared to all the courts at newer venues.

Negative experience: No doubt a nice place to padel. But £10 to rent a padel? And you have no balls for anyone to use so you have to buy them too? Come on guys. If youre a casual padel player, maybe try somewhere else a little cheaper!

Negative experience: I had an annual subscription that I used to play padel, which was automatically set to auto-renew on expiry - I've tried multiple times to cancel this but no one is helping me and my subscription is about to auto-renew and charge me £300 for something I don't want. I've emailed, got no response and there is no one to call or speak to. Money making scheme!

Fantastic experience: Lovely place to play but also the new bar is amazing. Live music makes it a perfect location for socialising with friends for summer

Negative experience: Good venue and courts. Initial price is expensive (not outlandishly so for London though) - however, hidden cost for racket hire (extra £40 for four) makes it extortionate. Some staff also not especially helpful / unclear who to go to for help. Children running across court during game also not ideal

Fantastic experience: I have played few times in this location and it is foremost the best one for padel in South West London. Staff is really helpful.

Positive experience: Awesome facility I really like it! Couple points: I saw a reply to a review defending your high pricing by reasoning it is because of the quality of your facilities and equipment. I don’t agree with this. The indoor courts are not set up on a concrete slab so the bounce of the ball is a bit funny with a lot of dead spots. While I do have my own racket - a friend rented one which was £10 and I was shocked at the quality of the racket. It’s a £29 racket from decathlon that genuinely does not have a sweetspot making it very difficult to play with. I thought my friend was making excuses but I played with it and was shocked. £10 rental fees on a £29 racket is robbery. No issue that the racket is cheap, I get that they get damaged but even if it’s £3 rental the cost of the racket is made back in a day.

Negative experience: Fairly expensive just to rent the court, but then we were told it would cost us an extra £40 to just hire the Padel rackets! It ended up costing us £100 just for an hour, and the venue itself isn't nice enough to justify that price. Staff were unfriendly and for the price it really isn't worth it, there are far nicer places to play nearby, I'd suggest trying those. Edited: it also seems like The Padel Yard are not great at taking accountability from the replies to lower reviews I can see here. I would advise looking elsewhere to play!

Positive experience: Really good courts, but make sure you bring balls and rackets. Spent 107.50 on an hours session in total for 4 people, rip off.

Positive experience: Fairly good place to play Padel. There is also a pickleball court, table tennis and a golf simulator. The class/court booking system could be improved so people don't book out classes months in advance and then cancel them without a charge 48 hours before when they realise they can't make the session. Also there needs to be more emphasis on a box league.

Negative experience: Courts were so flooded that we couldn’t even play and the customer service assistant wouldn’t provide a refund nor solution! Shocking!

Negative experience: Impossible to book courts nowadays, especially if you want to play indoors. Very much too busy with corporate events to make membership attractive. I tried a group booking once, but a minimum spend of £850 for 2 courts put me off. Once you sign up, you're locked in for 12 months and the only perk in that you can book 20 days in advance when most of the courts (after work/evenings) are already booked by coaches or corporate events . I haven't managed to play yet despite being a member for two months and now I can't get out of it. Shame, as it's a really good venue in theory. Have found much better options though. Just get Playtomic app and pay as you go for a variety of courts in London

Positive experience: Nice, well maintained courts. The pumping music is very distracting. No refund for bad weather policy is insanity. Already fairly expensive courts, plus a huge £10 rent a racket for an hour. The absolute least they could do is give refunds when their courts are literally waterlogged.

Fantastic experience: Love Padel Yard . It offers the perfect setting for padel enthusiasts. The bar and music create a lively atmosphere, Indoor and outdoor courts. Free parking at the rear. Nice environment, best place to improve your skills and make new friends.

Positive experience: If you buy a membership and want to cancel - request a month in advance :). No option anywhere on matchi to cancel it. Otherwise a great place to play padel!!

Positive experience: Because Padel is extremely popular, they are always booked however they don't invest much. Most of the time the floors around the courts are soaking wet even indoor. Indoor space is quite cold because all doors are open. Changing rooms are also quite bad. They are actually toilets. There is one bank to sit only. No hairdryer or shower.

Fantastic experience: Excellent pádel facilities with a bar and food stalls in the middle (called urban oasis)..... It's always busy, but lots going on. Not a member there so can't comment if that is worth it or not.

Negative experience: Absolute daylight robbery - £60 for an hour is just about doable for indoor central london padel, but to then charge £10 PER RACQUET rental and £7.50 as well for balls is ridiculous. Every other centre includes racquets and balls free of charge and for less than £60/hour too. E.g., Battersea Park is £45/hour including racquets and balls. Even more ridiculous is the racquets cost about £40 to buy on Amazon. **Update to reply to owner** I'm not disputing the costs of the court (as mentioned £60/hour is doable) - it's more the racquet rental to rent out a £40/50 racquet for £10 per hour (it should be free or maybe £2-3 max) and expect to charge £107.50 for an hour with four racquets and balls.

Fantastic experience: Been a member here for the last 5 months. The staff are great and the courts are really good. Indoor ones means there’s plenty of options for you. The outside area is also awesome to hang around after you’ve played with food stands and a bar. Will be coming back ALOT!

Positive experience: 5/5 stars for the courts and vibe!! Stunning courts at a reasonable price. I come here often. However, all of us who got wine got it in dirty glasses… this isn’t the first time either. Cloudy glasses with finger prints and marks all over. No great when you’re paying so much for a glass of wine you would hope it would be in a clean glass!! Definitely won’t get drinks here again….

Fantastic experience: Had a great time here with my friends. The staff were really lovely and helpful - especially Vicki who offered to show us some moves and tell us the rules. Indoor courts are £60 and outdoor courts are £50 for an hour. The bar outside is also great, playing some great tunes. Would definitely recommend for a weekend activity when the weather’s good.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience at The Padel Yard. The courts were immaculate, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Booking was easy, and the facilities, including clean changing rooms and great lighting, were top-notch. Highly recommended for all padel enthusiasts!

Negative experience: Very poor customer service and simply rude. I was in hospital with a broken ankle the evening before a booking, and could no longer attend the pickleball the next day. I contacted them via their Instagram page as nowhere on their website or confirmation email did it confirm where I could cancel my booking. This was 21.5 hours before my booking, I thought some flexibility would’ve been afforded to me but more than anything else their correspondence was rude and unhelpful.

Fantastic experience: Best Padel courts around - would definitely recommend! Outdoor courts are perfect for a sunny day or indoor courts if raining. Super easy to find and can rent rackets and balls. The atmosphere is great, music playing & places to get food and drinks after.

Positive experience: Definitely my favourite padel courts around the city with very good quality indoor courts recently built and nice facilities like bars, car parking and food stalls… the only drawback is the lack of shower facilities otherwise it would be a 5 stars!

Negative experience: Very dissapointed with service received. Went to watch the footie with some friends. We had confirmed previously that they were going to show the Spanish game. Game was not showing when we arrived..They put it on but with the sound from another game. Manager was rude and unhelpul. They have many TV screens but they cannit figure out how to show different games on the screens. We left after half time. Avoid this place. Terrible experience.

Negative experience: Sorry to say, but the yesterday’s experience at the Bar area was not the best. First when asking if they would screen the Eurocope match, the manager did not know that there were 2 matches simultaneously, then the screen was horrible, the speakers only for one match and the other mute. Staff looked stressed when asking sound for the mute one. Drinks were not ok, aperol spritz served on a white wine glass, small for aperol. The place could be full, but not well organised to receive loads of clients. We won’t return

The courts are extremely well-maintained which made for an enjoyable gameplay experience. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive vibe of the club. I'm particularly excited about the new indoor courts that are being introduced. The Padel Yard is definitely the place to be for all padel enthusiasts in London!
